Commercial & trade

Timber manufacture for specified projects.

Albion works with councils, estates, landscape architects, contractors and conservation organisations. We keep the scope, materials, approvals, delivery and installation responsibilities clear from the start.

Project information

Enough detail to specify, approve and maintain the product.

The paperwork should suit the job. Albion can provide the following when it forms part of the agreed scope.

We settle design responsibility, approval stages, interfaces and site logistics before they cause problems in manufacture or delivery.

01

Written specifications

Product and material proposals can respond to your written requirements, with assumptions and departures identified.

02

Drawings & approvals

Technical or approval drawings and a defined comment route can be included when required.

03

Product schedules

Quantities, references, sizes, timber and options can be coordinated into a practical schedule.

04

Timber & component information

Species, stated origin, fixings and bought-in components can be recorded to the required level.

05

Delivery planning

Programme, access, unloading, phased delivery and site contacts can be addressed before dispatch.

06

Installation scope

Foundations, fixings, interfaces, exclusions and responsibilities are defined where installation is included.

07

Inspection & photographic records

Specified checks and photographic production or installation records can support handover.

08

Care & maintenance information

Product-specific care and inspection information can be included at handover.

09

Warranty details

Any project warranty is stated in the quotation or contract once its scope and conditions are agreed.

Tender & supply chain

Clear quotations against your tender documents.

Send us the enquiry documents, return date, scope and named contact. We’ll review them and tell you if anything else is needed before we quote. Product references can then support schedules, repeat orders and future replacements.

Payment terms are confirmed with each quotation. Approved account customers may be offered terms of up to 30 days, subject to approval and a valid purchase order where required.

Planned maintenance & repair

Single point of responsibility

One contact from enquiry through handover.

You’ll have one Albion contact keeping the decisions, changes and project information together. If an engineer, specialist or third-party approval is needed, we will identify it in the scope.

Project enquiries

Have a tender, schedule or outline specification?

Send it over with the return requirements. We’ll take a look, confirm whether it suits Albion’s scope and tell you what else we need to quote.
